This bed Is amazing. Brought a new kitten home and she took to the bed right away. I ordered so many beds and this is her pick. It's huge, but she will grow into it. I read about it on another Sphynx mom's page and she was right. Soft material, well put together and hopefully it will hold up well. If your pet likes to burrow, this one is a must.
This little sleeping bag bed is so cozy. Our sphynx cats love it. They love it so much that I had to order another one. Our little dogs love it too but would rather cuddle with us under the blankets. Seems like it keeps them warm and they stay in there for quite a while and prefer to sleep in that instead of the many other things we have for them since they need to be warm because they don't have fur. Super easy to use. I put a little blanket by the entrance just so it would keep more heat in there for them plus it adds a little bit to it so they feel like they're covered better. Size is pretty nice. They could probably both fit in there if they wanted to but it would probably be a bit crowded. Appearance is nice and it's really soft. It appears to be pretty durable. I haven't had to wash it yet but when I do I will update this review.
My medium-sized cat and little dog love this bed. The dog - always needing to assert himself, and even though we have two - often tries to beat the cat to the bed the cat goes for. (Once he followed the cat and squeezed himself into the bed. The cat was usurped. My 15-lb cat is not interested.) I throw the beds in the washer and dryer. The “collar” gets a little wonky, but doesn’t diminish their usefulness. After about 3 years, the seam on one began to come apart. I sewed it; no big deal. My pets love them and, so, do I.
Like most sphnxs ours loves to be under blankets. She doesn't always successfully get under them without our help lol So I got her this cat sleeping bag/cuddle cave and she LOVES it! It works perfect, nice and warm and soft inside and she doesn't need our help getting into it because there's no blankets to fix/readjust each time she gets up!
My cat absolutely loves this. She sleeps on top of ot as well as inside!!
This sleep sack is awesome. My cats love it. My small cat jumps inside and I can carry her around. It also stays very warm. Would definitely recommended for anybody who has cats that are often cold.
This review is more about how the cats responded to this item, then about it overall quality. The bed quality seems to be fine and I am sure the cats would have found it very warm, had the wanted to use it. I have two cats and they both love getting into confined spaces and digging around in blankets, so I figured if one would not use it, the other would. Unfortunately neither cat was willing to use it for any extended period of time. The bed wasn't thick/ rigid enough to stay open on its own so I tried using packing paper to prop the bed open on the inside enough that it wouldn't fold over on top of them, but to no avail.
(Updated 2/2025)Months ago I put it in the dryer on air fluff to remove the smell. I would have put it in the wash machine but not sure it and our older machine would have handled it. It sits on my son's work desk, and our kitten has loved to sleep in it for months now. But I removed the pillow. She didn't like it. I replaced it with one of those nice thick furry self-warming pads that fit just right. Sold on Amazon. She liked his bed so well, I got one for my bedroom for my work desk where she sleeps part time. She tends to get a bit toasty in it, so I'll have to find something else for her during summer weather. Sadly, she is slowly outgrowing it, lengthwise. She is becoming a rather long, muscular 7 months old kitten, and more of a sprawler when she sleeps. It's held up very well. But she's not a destructive kitten. And where it sits, she can't jump on top of it were it on the floor. -----End of update----------Original review-----It's nice looking. Not as thick as I'd hoped, but good enough for now. It's big enough for an ordinary sized adult cat, but maybe a really big, chunky sized cat might find it a bit tight unless it likes to curl up. Some cats like that. It arrived in perfect condition. Fluffed up just right. Pillow is soft. Our 3 months kitten will go inside and sit a while, but doesn't seem to want to sleep in it. I notice it has a very slight (very slight!) off smell. Probably the foam. Cats have very keen and sensitive sense of smell. It's been airing for two weeks and still has a very slight smell. I might guess that would be the reason my kitten doesn't want to sleep in it. However all cats have different likes and dislikes, so who knows. I am keeping it in case our kitten changes her mind. Or to hand down to family for their cats if they might like it better.
